About All4Burma

All4Burma is an East Midlands Charity based in Mansfield.  Most of the Trustees have spent time in Thailand and Burma working with local agencies who provide support and relief to those trying to survive the current devastation of their lives.

 

Our desire is to ensure that we raise awareness of the issues in Burma and raise funds to support the people - both internally displaced and living as refugees, especially in Thailand and Bangladesh.

We are a Christian based organisation, however, our interest and support is provided for all Burmese people regardless of their ethnicity or religious beliefs.

We work  to increase people's knowledge of the situation based on Proverbs 31:8-9 which says: "Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute.  Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy."

We also seek to raise funds to support people's physical needs based on 1 John 3:17-18 "Whosoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? My little children, let us not love in word or tongue, but in deed and in truth."

We have very few expenses and all work for All4Burma is done voluntarily so we can guarantee that 99% of money donated goes exactly where you think it will go - to the people of Burma.
